At Sakhee, sessions are priced to be genuinely accessible — because the women and girls in Western Sydney who need support the most often can't afford to wait months for a referral or pay psychology rates out of pocket.
You don't need a GP referral. You don't need a Mental Health Care Plan. You just need to reach out.

A safe, non-judgmental space for teen girls aged 12–17 dealing with friendship struggles, anxiety, self-worth, school pressure, or big feelings they can't quite name.

A held space for mothers and daughters to reconnect, be heard by each other, and work through the tension that can build when words feel impossible.

🌸Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with Sakhee — no Mental Health Care Plan or GP visit required. Just reach out and we'll take it from there.
🌸Can I claim a Medicare rebate?
Medicare rebates are not available for ACA-registered counsellors, but some private health funds do offer partial rebates under extras cover. It's worth checking with your insurer before your first session.
🌸How do I pay?
Payment is due at the time of your session. We accept bank transfer and card. An invoice can be provided for private health insurance claims.
🌸What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
🌸How many sessions will I need?
That depends entirely on you. Some people find 4–6 sessions helpful for a focused issue; others prefer ongoing support over a longer period. We'll talk about what feels right at your first session.
